Copyright and license notices for the third-party material Fotufilm builds on.
Fotufilm bundles no analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs. Everything listed here is an image-processing or numerical component that runs locally on your device, and none of it transmits anything.
Halide
The image pipeline is written against Halide and compiled by it. On macOS the
engine links libHalide and JITs; where no compiler can ship
alongside the binary the kernels are generated ahead of time and linked in as
static archives, which brings part of the Halide runtime into the shipped
binary.
Halide is Copyright © 2012–2020 MIT CSAIL, Google, Facebook, Adobe, NVIDIA CORPORATION, and other contributors, and is distributed under the MIT License. Because an ahead-of-time binary carries Halide runtime code, the MIT copyright and permission notice travels with it and is reproduced wherever that binary is distributed.
Measured-reflectance recovery prior
The RGB-to-spectrum recovery model is a statistical adaptation of open measured-reflectance datasets. Source records are normalized, validated and combined into a constrained statistical model; the app ships only the resulting model.

The three attributed datasets use Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The exact input hashes, retained counts and fit diagnostics are published with the generator report.
rgb2spec legacy comparison tool
The repository retains a comparison generator based on “A Low-Dimensional Function Space for Efficient Spectral Upsampling” by Wenzel Jakob and Johannes Hanika. Its reference implementation is Copyright © 2019 Wenzel Jakob and distributed under the BSD 3-Clause License. It is not linked into the engine and its generated table is not shipped.
OpenFX image effect API
The DaVinci Resolve plugin is written against headers from the OpenFX image
effect API, Copyright © 2003–2015 The Open Effects Association Ltd
and distributed under the BSD 3-Clause License. Each header carries the full
copyright, conditions and disclaimer in its own comment, unmodified, at the
OFX_Release_1_4_TAG revision.
The API is headers only: there is no OpenFX code in the built plugin, which implements the interface rather than linking an implementation of it. This notice applies to the Resolve plugin alone.
rawtoaces camera spectral sensitivity data
The camera profiles used to interpret raw captures are measured spectral
sensitivity datasets from the Academy Software Foundation’s
rawtoaces-data repository, unmodified, distributed under the
Apache License 2.0. The datasets and a full copy of that license ship
inside every app binary, and the attribution is reproduced in the
app’s acknowledgements.
CIE colorimetric data
The engine's color matching uses the CIE open data sets “CIE 1931 color-matching functions, 2 degree observer” and “CIE standard illuminant D65”, published by the International Commission on Illumination.
Film stock calibration
The calibrated stock packs draw on manufacturer technical publications. No manufacturer publication is redistributed, in whole or in part — not the documents, not the plots printed in them, and not any crop or page image taken from one. What is published is measurement: density at a given exposure, relative sensitivity at a given wavelength. Those are facts about a physical material rather than creative expression.
Film stock and manufacturer names appear here and in the app to identify the material a pack models, and in prose where they illustrate a physical effect. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners, used descriptively. Nothing here implies affiliation with or endorsement by Eastman Kodak Company, FUJIFILM Corporation, or any other rights holder, and no pack is an official product of, or approved by, the manufacturer whose film it models.
