Engine, Mac app, and plugins
Fotufilm's engine, Mac app, and plugins use the Apache License 2.0. You may use, modify, and redistribute that code under its terms. The Mac app has no activation, licence keys, or device limit. Third-party components retain their own licences and notices.
Film profiles
Every Fotufilm film profile uses CC BY-SA 4.0, including the films bundled with the apps and the films in downloadable packs. The profiles and their licence notice are published with the engine source.
You may use, copy, modify, and redistribute the profiles, including commercially. Credit them to Fotufilm with a link to https://fotufilm.com, keep the copyright and licence notices, and say what you changed. Adapted profiles you distribute must use CC BY-SA 4.0 or an officially compatible licence.
A pack purchase or subscription pays for the packaged download and its updates. It does not change the licence of the profiles inside. The monthly plan renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel through Manage subscription in your pack account; updates remain available until the paid period ends. Downloaded packs keep working offline after cancellation. A one-time purchase keeps download access to the version bought. Earlier purchases retain their original access.
Your photos and videos remain yours. You can share or sell them without crediting Fotufilm; the profile licence does not apply to work you render.
Refunds and earlier purchases
Digital pack sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. Earlier purchases retain the access supplied at purchase. After a pack refund, download access ends. Your rights under the Apache-2.0 and CC BY-SA 4.0 licences continue. See the refund FAQ.
You can still find earlier desktop purchases in your account. The Apache-2.0 app needs no activation.
Your packs and trademarks
You retain your rights to film packs you author. Fotufilm and MUA Studio branding identify official releases; the software licence grants no trademark rights. Film and manufacturer names identify simulated materials and do not imply endorsement.
